About Us

Hancock Street Consulting was founded on a simple belief: every vendor decision, sourcing choice and business change should be strategic, not transactional. A transactional approach solves today’s need. A strategic approach connects that decision to where the organization is headed, so each one builds on the last instead of working against it. The firm partners with organizations to turn executive direction into action, bringing experience from inside large, complex institutions to every engagement, and leaving behind solutions built to last and easy for your teams to own.

The Approach

STEP 01

Executive Direction

Every engagement begins at the top, with a clear understanding of leadership’s objectives and the outcomes that define success.

STEP 02

Leadership Alignment

That direction is carried to the leaders who own the work, confirming each team understands its role with nothing lost in translation.

STEP 03

Analyst Execution

The people closest to the work are given a voice to say what they need. Gaps in tools, vendors and processes are closed, and strategy becomes measurable results.

STEP 04

Lasting Ownership

Every engagement is built to outlast it. Client teams are prepared to own and sustain the work, so results continue long after the engagement ends.

What Sets the Firm Apart

An Asset, Not Another Resource to Manage

Hancock Street takes ownership of the work, coordinating vendors, teams and timelines, so your leaders gain capacity instead of another project to oversee.

Strategic, Not Transactional

Every decision is connected to where the organization is headed, so each one builds on the last instead of working against it.

Experience From the Inside

Senior leadership experience inside large, complex organizations means guidance grounded in how decisions get made and how vendors perform.

HOW THE FIRM OPERATES

Like a conductor, every engagement starts with understanding each part, its timing and its role, then bringing them together toward one result.THE PRINCIPLE BEHIND EVERY ENGAGEMENT

Curiosity

A perpetual student of your business, your customers and your people.

Decisiveness

Gather what the time allows, then commit to a clear direction.

Empowerment

Teams at every level get what they need to do excellent work.

Adaptability

Plans flex as your objectives change. Plan for the unplanned.

Challenging the status quo

Alternative models and fresh thinking, not habit.

Empathy

Change happens to people. Compassion stays part of the work.
